Belinda bencic practices with dmitry tursunov in guadalajara in likely new coaching partnership

Bencic would be Tursunov’s third coaching pupil of 2022 after previously working with Anett Kontaveit and Emma Raducanu earlier this season.
Raducanu and Tursunov had worked together since the start of the hard-court season three months ago—the most recent in a number of coaching changes Raducanu has had since starting her full-time pro career in mid-2021.
Since retiring from the ATP Tour in 2017, Tursunov has previously worked with other top WTA players, including Anett Kontaveit, Aryna Sabalenka, and Elena Vesnina.
Bencic, who has had her father, Ivan, as coach for most of her career, has also recently been working with WTA coach Sebastian Sachs.
The 25-year-old from Switzerland won the title in Charleston and is 37-14 this season. She also won the gold medal in 2021 at the Tokyo Olympics.
Bencic is ranked No.15 on the WTA Tour, having held a career-high of No. 4 in 2020.
